Leading Retail Centre and Community Hub Teams Up with MASSIVart for the Second Year to Create a Captivating Destination

After creating playful artistic outdoor seating in the summer of 2023, MASSIVart is excited to announce a new collaboration with Guildford Town Centre, owned by Ivanhoé Cambridge and managed by Jones Lang Lasalle (JLL) in Surrey, just outside of Vancouver, BC. Surrey, B.C. (June 26, 2024): Guildford Town Centre, the Fraser Valley’s premier shopping destination, announces Harmony Hub, a visionary new public space and bold art installation, launching at the end of June. It is created in collaboration with MASSIVart, a creative placemaking & public art strategy firm renowned for its expertise in crafting vibrant destinations.
 

 
Designed to foster relaxation, connection, and contemplation amidst lush greenery and striking artistic elements, Harmony Hub transforms the Centre’s entrance into a dynamic public art installation. Positioned near the Centre’s welcome tree’s planter, the circular enclave features energetic graphics and wave-like shapes in vibrant hues of pinks and oranges applied to the ground, surrounding stairs, and supplementary seating options. It offers visitors an inviting outdoor setting against a picturesque backdrop, encouraging them to unwind and enjoy a memorable artistic experience.
