Palais des congrès de Montréal
Public Art Installations - Cultural Programming - Permanent & Site Specific Art
The Palais des congrès de Montréal requested a study analyzing how it could become a go-to destination for both local and international visitors by enhancing its public spaces and highlighting the city’s identity.
After conducting in-depth research, benchmarking similar initiatives around the world, and interviewing over 20 participants whether employees of the centre or key figures of Montreal’s creative industry, MASSIVart delivered an extensive report proposing turnkey solutions capable of enhancing the Palais des congrès. Annual cultural programming including art installations, living spaces and pop-up activities was proposed to achieve the objectives of the client.
Spread over three seasons (spring, summer and fall), this dynamic programming is developed around the themes of creativity, design and innovation. By using art & design as a key element in improving the public spaces, MASSIVart contributes to attract new audiences as well as achieve the convention centre’s new vision: being part of Montreal’s creative development. With this annual creative programming, we believe we’re pushing business boundaries to another level by offering a unique and distinctive client experience in the field of convention centres.
